Fudgy Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Squares

I was stress-baking the other day. 

Sometimes, when life feels a little too overwhelming, I grab my phone, put on a podcast, and mix and match ingredients with the hopes of coming up with something great. That day, luck was in my favour. 

I present to you: Fudgy Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Squares. 

Fudgy when cool. Fudgy AND GOOEY when warmed. Talk about texture GOALS. 


Fudgy Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Squares

Makes 12-16 squares

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda 
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.  
  • Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper, or spray with cooking spray.  
  • Pour batter into pan and spread evenly.  
  • Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.   
  • Let cool before cutting into squares. 
  • ENJOY!
